I’ve shifted my practice from marriage counseling to marriage coaching.
Here’s why.
After decades of working with couples, I’ve watched the conversation change. Couples don’t always need — or want — a clinical diagnosis and a treatment plan. What they need is someone who will sit with them, tell them the truth, and give them practical tools to actually fix what’s broken. Over and over, I’ve seen coaching get couples there faster and more directly than traditional counseling ever did. So I’m making the switch official.
What this means for you
If you’re already working with me: nothing changes. Same me, same warmth, same directness, same availability. You don’t need to do a thing.
If you’ve been thinking about reaching out: coaching gives us even more room to focus on what works — real strategies, real accountability, real progress — without getting bogged down in clinical red tape.
And here’s the part I’m most excited about: I’m putting the finishing touches on a 2–3 day Marriage Intensive, designed specifically for couples in crisis who need fast, focused, concentrated help — not just an hour a week. More details (and dates) are coming very soon. If that sounds like something you or someone you love might need, keep an eye on your inbox.
In the meantime I’ve added a few new speciality pages to my website:
- Marriage Coaching
- Household Management Coaching
- Marriage Coaching for Doctors Spouses
- Premarital Coaching
- Infidelity Recovery Coaching
- Divorce Coaching
