There Are No Words

There are no words to express the abyss between isolation and having one ally.  It may be conceded to the mathematician that four is twice two.  But two is not twice one; two is two thousand times one. – G. K. Chesterton

I love that quote.  And I am sharing it with you to let you know that I really do know how important it is to get the right help when you need it most.  Part of finding that help is finding someone who is on your side. That’s me. I’m on your side. I know how hard life can be. But I also know you’ve got more resources and resilience than you know you do. I know you can face your pain and come out whole on the other side. And I know (even if you don’t) that you are worth all the trouble it takes to get there.

I will be there in the midst of difficulty, and I will be there to cheer you on to finding the joy that comes out of facing that difficulty. Your life is my life’s work. Does everything seem overwhelming? I am here to be your ally.
